Based in their Northampton office, you will be joining an innovative firm that takes pride in its values, culture and most importantly their employees. As part of the recruitment team you will be creative and driven, with interpersonal savvy that allows you to develop lasting relationships with internal clients, candidates, and external suppliers helping to guide them through the hiring process. Travel to other UK offices will be part of this exciting role. Main responsibilities - Manage the selection and assessment for c.25 trainees and c.60 placement candidates per year including application screening and assessment centres. To manage the graduate recruitment team, including the delivery of a competitive graduate recruitment marketing campaign and training contract programme. Develop and manage engaging content for the team's digital media presence on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Instagram. Promote the firm's values throughout these mediums. Write engaging and useful content for the graduate recruitment blog and manage content from members of the firm. Liaise with external clients in organising meetings and delivering workshops at universities, schools and for internal insight evenings. Organise the trainee induction week and further training courses such as the Professional Skills Course. Monitor the progress of each trainee/placement candidate ensuring they reach the required SRA standards in order to qualify/progress to the next stage of assessment. Manage the advertising (print and digital) via a number of external publishers and universities. Refresh the content in line with the firm's strategy. Organise logistics for a variety of events internally and off-site, including law fairs. Maintain engagement with future trainees via private LinkedIn groups, regular email contact and events. Skills & qualifications Proven experience to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse range of people and job functions. Expectation of complete confidentiality on all business matters. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; organisational and time management skills Degree-level or equivalent practical experience. Experience of working in an HR, recruitment or professional services environment. Previous line manager experience. Existing network in the legal world would be advantageous. Ability to use initiative to make decisions in the interest of those concerned. Proactive in dealing with problems before they arise and ability to think on your feet. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge and interest in social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and LinkedIn.
