Main Purpose of Job To ensure that Clancy Plant has in place a sector leading Business Management system that delivers high performance and compliance with the law, relevant standards and quality and value for money to the clients. To manage and lead HSEQ with the aim of continuously improving Clancy Plants HSEQ performance and becoming an industry leader. To manage the planning, development and implementation of the HSE & Q strategy across the Clancy Plant divisions. Working with Senior Managers to ensure that the HSE & Q procedures are developed, communicated, understood and adhered to at all locations. Working towards the goal of zero harm to people, the environment and equipment. To ensure a high level of compliance with the Groups HSE & Q policies, processes and procedures through a robust process of monitoring and audit. Represent and promote the safety performance to third parties (e.g. clients and government regulators) so that quality, health, safety and environmental management are perceived as world class. Give organisational health, safety, environmental and quality management advice across Clancy Plant and report on the HSE & Q performance. Accountability The post holder will report to and is accountable to the Clancy Plant General Managers. The post will be based in Harefield with UK wide travel. Main Duties and Responsibilities The management, development, and control of the Clancy Plant Business Management System to ensure that the business has in place a management system fit for purpose that provides compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001 Registrations, Legal Compliance, Van Excellence and other schemes as required. Working with senior managers to review and redesign (where necessary) the business processes and procedures to improve performance and deliver continual improvement. Ensuring and monitoring compliance with national and international standards and legislation and updating or developing process and procedures as necessary. Ensure a high level of HSE & Q performance through regular audits and identify areas for improvement and ensure that appropriate corrective and preventative actions are identified and managed to completion. Coordinate preparation of statistics pertaining to HSE & Q activities for use by company personnel and outside agencies Working with Senior Managers to identify specific business needs and to develop solutions and business processes to meet these requirements. Acting as the key contact with customers’ auditors and taking responsibility for ensuring the execution of corrective actions and ongoing compliance with customers’ specifications. Coordinate and where necessary lead any accident/incident investigation and reporting. Responsible for internal and external audit programmes, the BMS inspection regime and the collating and analysing of performance data against defined parameters. Responsible for having in place a system and for the tracking, close out and escalation of audit and investigation actions Providing assistance and guidance to operational staff on the implementation of the business management system and the Service Execution Plan (SEP) for their service provision. Supporting other departments and areas of the Clancy Plant business as required. Minimum of 5 years relevant experience at senior management level in HSEQ. Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in a HSEQ role.
