Business Controller About Our Client Logistics Company based in the midlands specializing in the design and operation of supply chain solutions for technology companies. Job Description Currently looking to for a business controller to work onsite at my prestigious client based in the Hinckley/Lutterworth area. Responsibilities include - Timely and accurate production of month and year end Management Accounts for UK Tech sites as required. To include full analysis of sales and direct labour variance. Aim for day 3 review with Finance Manager in preparation for submission of preliminary results. Preparation of monthly Finance packs, to include walks etc, in timely advance of the month end review call. Balance Sheet Control of Sales & Cost Accruals in conjunction with 4.1 to ensure Financial Statements show a true & fair view. Preparation of Annual Budget and Quarterly Latest View files in conjunction with the Finance Manager (Excel and associated powerpoint presentations). Upload budgets and LV’s into Company interactive excel consolidation software. Implement and maintain a comprehensive set of operation analysis, management reports and KPI’s for the Business, to ensure Best in Class performance in term of cost and service is achieved. Identify process strengths and weaknesses of the business, present areas of improvement supported by the analysis undertaken, detailing the process improvement in terms of productivity and cost. The Successful Applicant Education: Working towards an accounting qualification (CIMA preferred Experience: Relevant experience in similar Accounting environment/logistics business. Personal skills: Professional, accurate & precise, ability to manage multiple objectives, enthusiastic, ability to work under own initiative, excellent communication & presentation skills, exceptional analytical skills, ability to work under pressure. PC knowledge: High Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Share-point, VBA, Access and Power-point). SAP experience preferred but not essential.
