An exciting opportunity has arisen at a national healthcare organisation for a Learning and Development Manager. The successful candidate will be based in Preston, reporting directly to the Head of Learning and Development. Day-to-day you’ll be focusing on a wide range of in-depth projects, and as such you will need strong analytical skills combined with a progressive approach to solving problems. Operating as the day-to-day contact for the department, your general duties will also include: Supporting teams across the UK business with career development Working alongside the Head of L&D on strategy and programme design Ensuring consistency of standards are in line with the national business Owning the L&D budget, managing spend closely and measuring ROI Pinpointing learning opportunities across the group Identifying new ways to encourage continual learning and share knowledge To be considered for this role you will need to have a strong track record in the healthcare sector, along with the natural ability to manage long term relationships. An ambitious attitude, energy and professional drive are all important qualities for this role, as you will be expected to inspire and motivate at all levels.
