IT Technical Installation Engineer - Spider Web Recruitment are advertising on behalf of a successful business IT Solutions and Support Company in their search for a Technical Installation Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to join the team based in Ipswich, demonstrating a great enthusiasm for working in a growing IT environment with the chance to progress. As the successful IT Technical Installation Engineer you will have very good knowledge and experience of IT and installation coordination, as well as a positive and professional approach as this is a client facing role. Main responsibilities of the Technical Installation Engineer include: Coordinating workshop activities in support of equipment commissioning as well as equipment installations Supporting the helpdesk team (taking calls, logging support tickets and fixing problems remotely) Attending customer's sites to install equipment and investigate/fix support issues Working as an effective team to resolve and escalate support calls as well as liaison with the Account Manager to co-ordinate sales orders and projects Supporting the implementation of larger projects such as server installations and migrations, as well as assisting with Project Managing Creating Build Sheets and the coordination of the technical team communication prior to planned installations, including support of installation plans You will have a minimum of 3 years' experience working in an IT, Product Commissioning & Installation or Helpdesk role. As a key, more senior member of the Technical Team you will be a positive role model, approachable with good communication skills. As the Technical Installation Engineer you will have a genuine concern for quality, always striving to do an excellent job and ensuring all work is completed on time. This is a role that from time to time will require additional hours to be worked. You will also be given the opportunity to work on projects which will allow you to learn and develop your skills, as well as receiving external training where appropriate. You will receive a salary of £22-£28k dependent on experience a company car. Therefore please note that a full driving licence is required.
