Stock Controller / Dispatch Supervisor Reporting to: Customer Account Manager/Operations Manager Salary: £19000 Permanent Location: Park Royal, London We are a third party logistics company. Getting the products from our suppliers to customers is what we are all about. Quite simply our aim in Stock Control is to get the right amount of the right products to the right place at the right time. What will this involve? Keep the inventory reports updated. Monitoring current levels and placing orders as required to meet the diverse requirements of our customers. The Stock Controller / Dispatch Supervisor will demonstrate excellent communication skills in liaising with our suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure the right parts/orders are prepared, collected and delivered on time Your attention to detail will help ensure information on dates and quantities are accurate and up-to-date on our system The Stock Controller / Dispatch Supervisor will communicate potential issues in a timely and effective manner and be proactive in taking appropriate corrective actions Manage superseded and obsolete and quarantine stock items to ensure good stock rotation, usage and minimal write off Support the supply chain team What kind of person are we looking for? The Stock Controller / Dispatch Supervisor will be a fast learner, with previous stock control and import shipping experience Organised and methodical, you’ll possess a keen eye for detail Possessing excellent written and verbal communication skills, you’ll be able to build successful working relationships at all levels You will have the confidence to challenge current processes for improvement. You will have strong IT skills within Microsoft packages The Stock Controller / Dispatch Supervisor will thrive as part of a team but also be able to work on your own initiative You will be a problem solver, able to take solutions to completion.
