Job Title: Account Manager Location: Bournemouth, Dorset Salary: DOE Our client is currently looking for a strong Account Manager with ideally 3 years' experience relevant experience. Overview: The key role of the Account Manager is to act as the Agency's main point of contact with a client or portfolio of clients, offering excellent service and ensuring the business transacted is carried out profitably and efficiently. The Account Manager will need to liaise with the Copy Team, Production Department, Creative team and Studio Co-ordinator on all matters relating to the efficient production of our services. Key Duties: It is the responsibility of the Account Manager to promote, develop and extend the business of the Company. To communicate client's work requirements to the appropriate agency personnel by the use of Contact Reports and individual briefings (Contact Reports should be produced within 24 working hours of client contact) To ensure the satisfactory progress of all work relating to the accounts handled, smoothly, economically and to the agreed time scales. If building clients are involved then relevant site visits must be made, as dictated by the Client Contract. To acquire new accounts wherever possible. To generate additional revenue, over and above the Client fee. To manage credit control. Knowledge, Skills and Attributes Required: Knowledge of the clients' business is essential and some creative thinking is desirable, to be able to present ideas to the client. Self-confidence, initiative and personal organisation is required. The following attributes are also necessary; accuracy, adaptability, client focus, communication, team working, flexibility, persuasion and self-development. The Account Manager is the Agency's face to the client and should inspire confidence, credibility and trust. Performance Measured: Performance will be measured by the profitability of each client, the relevant work produced on time and the satisfaction level of the clients.
