Role Purpose: Conducts Quality Control (QC) procedures in compliance with standards of Good Control Laboratory practices. Provides accurate and reliable QC processes (e.g. analysis) to support the targets and needs of the business. Scope: You will be working in a highly regulated and compliant environment to conducting analysis in accordance with relevant Good Manufacturing & Control Laboratory Practices Accountabilities: · Collation, trending and interpretation of analytical data, providing updates to senior analysts and laboratory leaders. Analytical results are checked, approved, recorded and available for inspection. · Maintaining high standards of laboratory housekeeping in the work area. · Prioritising day to day workload in line with customer service requirements. · Ensures that equipment is maintained and calibrated to appropriate standards · Maintaining and support the Laboratory quality systems and participation in continuous improvement programmes and presentation of project activities to relevant groups · Understand and follow all necessary Health & Safety systems and working practices. · Maintain and support the laboratory quality systems Key Challenges: · Working in a highly regulated and compliant environment to deliver accurate results. · Delivering output in an efficient, dynamic and flexible manner against focused lead times. · Providing clear and effective communication throughout the supply chain Skills & Experience required: · Educated to A Level standard and ideally has previous experience of food or pharmaceutical Good Manufacturing Practices. · Good communication skills with the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner. · You will demonstrate high levels of accuracy in your working practices with close attention to detail. · Fluency in the English language Technical / professional qualifications required: Minimum 5 GCSEs or equivalent with a BTec, GNVQ or A’Level Qualification in relevant a science subject.
