The Role Treasury Assistant reporting into the Treasury Manager and responsible for the coordination of all treasury activities and associated administration across a major group of businesses.You will be responsible for maintaining day to day relationships with the Groups banks and interacting with key finance personnel at the Group's sites. Key responsibilities will include the following: Daily review and control of global Group cash management (UK / US / Europe) Electronic Banking using various bank platforms. Daily trading /analysis in Treasury Instruments including: FX products (forwards / options / swaps. Letters of credits /guarantees Interest rate review / metal price hedges. Cash flow forecasting analysis for each site including monthly reviews / calls with local FDs. Various Group reporting requirements including: Covenant reporting to lending syndicate. Ensure Compliance with loan documents. Debtor / Inventory analysis. Monthly Treasury report to the board. Group currency exposure summary. Update of all bank mandates throughout the Group. Responsibility for liquidity of Group via control of the Asset based Lending facility and drawing down on this facility as and when required. Receiving reports on a monthly basis from operational sites reviewing and highlighting exceptions for review. Submitting monthly compliance certificates and supporting documents to the Funding provider once agreed. Quarterly covenant compliance certification with provision of supporting documentation. Annual AR / Inventory review and analysis. Your Profile This role will suit either a specialist Treasury candidate looking for a new challenge or a studying candidate looking for a route into a major group and the career prospects this would offer. You will need to have either experience of operating in a Treasury team or working with a Treasury team as part of a broader role, but this can be minimal as long as the the individual is willing to learn. Our client will support study for either the ACT or ACCA qualifications as they believe strongly in developing individuals in order that they may progress throughout the Group in the UK or internationally.
