Job Summary iSmash are about to enter a vast period of expansion with at least 20 stores opening in 2017 and are looking to recruit a Fitout Manager who is experienced in delivering retail fit out and interior projects. You will have an enviable health and safety record within the shop fitting industry. You will be the single point of contact, focusing on regular communication and a co-ordinated response. Working closely with other departments you will ensure a complete understanding of the project and attention to detail throughout. Benefitting from your retail experience you will deliver a pedigree service on projects large or small. Key Responsibilities · Planning, designing, specifying and managing the fit out of new iSmash stores · Taking a new store location from identification by the Director to hand over of the unit for launch · Managing all maintenance of and improvements to current stores · Working with various contractors and suppliers in order to refine the fit out model in an effort to improve quality and functionality while also reducing costs and timescales · Develop fit out manuals to act as a basis of future fit out stores Other responsibilities · Ensure work progresses in adherence with Company policies and procedures · Produce accurate reporting including risks and progress · Building relationships with new and key suppliers · Design and draw new store GA layouts. Key Skills, Knowledge and Experience Proven track record working in a role with a broad scope of construction and design experience Proven organisation and planning skills Excellent interpersonal and team building skills, diplomacy and discretion dealing with contacts at all levels · Ability to handle and adjust to a variety of concurrent activities, judge priorities and organize work effectively under limited supervision · Retail fit out experience · Strong organisational skills and ability to manage complexity · Passion for exceptional representation of the brand at all times · Ability to act on own initiative and take ownership of projects and tasks through to successful completion This job was originally posted as
