Our client is looking to recruit a Stock Demand Planner to join their new team. An established and successful organisation who have some exciting growth and development plans already in progress. Some of the duties include: Demand forecasting & raising orders using correct Navision procedures Maintain the correct amount of inventory Monitor significant changes in demand, report & take appropriate action Regular contact with Sales Managers/Export Co-ordinators to obtain forecast information Monitor Supplier Performance and maintain supplier files/system vendor performance Communicate with Management on relevant stock or supplier problems or issues Control payment to suppliers and ensure payment terms and prices are set up correctly Specific responsibility for the Supply Chain management of specific clients and suppliers Liaise on a regular basis by fax & telephone/e-mail with suppliers, to place orders and deal with any amendments, queries and problems which may arise. Sign any sales contracts / order confirmations and return to supplier Ensure any back orders / out of stocks and nearly out of stocks are acted on to ensure continuity of supply Pass supplier pricing information to executive management Provide supplier pricing spreadsheets and cost calculations to Supply Chain Director Assist Supply Chain Director with re-sourcing of new products & suppliers Maintain Supplier pricing information on the system Provide Suppliers with demand forecast information when necessary Previous experience within a supply chain environment as a stock demand planner is essential.
