Job Role: Supply Chain Analyst Location: Bournemouth, Dorset Salary: Depending on Experience Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Supply Chain Analyst to join their team based at the Hub in Christchurch, Dorset. Key Purpose of Role: Analyse your category to enhance and optimise stock levels within various stores ensuring great availability of product to meet customer demand throughout the trading calendar. Key Accountabilities: Availability and Stockholding Taking ownership of on shelf availability in your specific area and managing the stockholding within budget. Monitor and manage levels of stock within various stores, through data analysis, identifying seasonal, life cycle and promotional trends and ensuring software tools are adjusted to reflect these Exceed budget for in store product availability and stockholding by effectively controlling parameters set within the software. Develop Supplier relationships Develop relationship with suppliers to improve availability and resolve any issues Prepare supplier specific forecasts from available data and analyse actual performance against forecast Pro-actively monitor and analyse supplier performance, identify risks and communicate and resolve issues. Communicate and Implementation Work cross functionally with Buying, Direct Sourcing, Operations and Suppliers to ensure effective planning and implementation of supply chain activities Work with buyers to develop range change proposals including forecasting new line and promotional volumes Manage allocations to stores for range change and promotional activity in line with critical path Communicate and resolve current issues. Candidate specification: Excellent Excel skills are essential. Use of Demand Planning and Replenishment systems would be an advantage.
