Quality Controller Staffordshire £32-35k This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quality Controller to join one of the world's leading manufacturer and supplier of gaming solutions My client is a worldwide leader in the manufacture and supply of technical products and solutions to the international casino and gaming industry. Within the Group, the centralised Marketing Department supports business activities across the globe. As part of the Product Development Department the Quality Controller will plan and carry out the quality control functions and activities set by the Company across both the manufacturing and software development departments. Responsible for all processes and procedures needed to successfully deliver products to customers, working effectively as part of a team. The ideal candidate: 2 years experience working in a QC role or similar, preferably within a manufacturing environment Previous experience with Quality Management System (QMS) ISO9001 will be a huge advantage Attain/maintain ISO certification where agreed Extensive quality leadership in an engineering/software/manufacturing environment. Excellent IT skills and knowledge Job Responsibilities: Undertake monitoring, analysis and reporting of project quality performance and Key Performance Indicators, identifying trends and implementing actions identified. Routine inspection duties (including visual & dimensional checks, patrol inspections and AQL sampling) and complete associated records. Assist with problem solving and prevention of non-conformance, through investigation and analysis. To assist in the preparation of workmanship standards and instructions Compile and accurately maintain a variety of standard operating records and reports. Set QA compliance objectives ensuring that targets are achieved. Liaise with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers. Ensuring compliance with national and international standards & legislation. Consider the application of environmental and health and safety standards. Agree standards and establish clearly defined quality methods for staff to apply. Identify relevant quality- related training needs and deliver training where required.
