Sales Manager DCS/SCADA Process and Factory Automation £50,000 - £65,000 Bonus Company Car Pension One of our long-standing partners requires the skills and expertise of an established Sales Manager with a background in Process and Factory Automation. This person will play a pivotal part in supporting the organisation in a new and exciting venture as they continue to expand and develop. The Company Our clients are a global manufacturer of automation technology, they specialize in controller, visualization and drive technologies. In addition to scalable complete solutions, they also provide individual components, supplying into some of the biggest names in the Automotive, Print, Food & Beverage and Oil & Gas industries. Off the back of a record turnover and with a growing project portfolio the company is now seeking a Business Development Manager to spearhead a new lucrative new product. The Role This is a new and exciting position within the company and will be the first piece of the jigsaw in an exciting new venture, helping develop partnerships with both OEM's and end users in growth markets. As a Sales Manager, you will be expected to have proven experience in a similar role within the controls and automation industry. Ideally selling DCS or SCADA systems into OEM or End-users who are active in the following industries: FMCG, Food, Beverage, Packaging, Paper, and Pharma. You will be expected to work closely with the Sales Director to help establish an effective strategy to establish routes to market, looking at strategic goals, building key customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, and maintaining an extensive knowledge of current market conditions. Responsibilities: Technical sales expert for the companies solutions in process and factory automation Independent acquisition of customers, systems integrators and machine manufacturers in the area of process and factory automation Technical and commercial responsibility for the design and implementation of solutions for systems manufacturing in process and factory automation for various industries Establishment and supervision of the systems integrators / engineering consultants partner network Support of regional sales team in the acquisition and completion of PFA solutions Editing of requests for bids, creation of offers Customer support in developing concepts Design and implementation of customized workshops and presentations Preparation and attendance at trade fairs The person The successful candidate will have very strong DCS/SCADA commercial and technical background. You will be a confident and professional salesman with extensive experience in solution sales to OEM's and End Users. You will have 5-10 years' experience of working in a Technical Sales or Business Development role. You will come from a college/university degree background in the areas of electrical engineering, electronics, automation technology, mechatronics, instrumentation or process engineering.
