For Eaton's Aerospace Division we are looking to hire: Project Manager location: Titchfield, UK The Titchfield site, part of Fuel and Motion Control Systems (FMC) division, continues to be the largest site in the UK employing approximately 900 people. The prime purpose of the site is the design, manufacture and aftermarket support of key fuel systems. The primary function of this position is management of operational development projects/programmes. Project Manager reports to Manufacturing Engineering Manager and is a part of a team of 25 people. Essential Functions: Responsible and accountable for development of project scope, management and delivery of operational projects / programmes Manage financial control for projects / programmes including spend profile Development of business cases for proposed projects leading to CAR approvals Leading and facilitating cross functional teams to ensure buy in of all stakeholders Establish objectives and goals for self and project team Develop appropriate communications plan for each project defining method, frequency and execute Develop appropriate reporting methods and metrics Manage projects using Eaton tools including Pro-Launch STP, NPD Develop equipment specifications to ensure that safety and regulatory obligations are adhered too Manage supplier selection based on multiple quotations in line with Eaton guidelines. Manage selected suppliers to ensure safe and timely delivery of product / services Manage portfolio of projects to ensure prioritization and delivery to meet business needs Manage risks and mitigation Capable of running multiple plant projects Responsible for the delivery of Technicallycompliant solutions covering all aspects of projects / programmes including development of detailed specifications for bespoke equipment and systems Qualifications: HNC/HND, BA degree preferable Project management qualification (such as Prince2) Proven project management experience Technical background, preferably coming from aerospace industry Fully demonstrating to proficient in program and project management, processes and tools Good communication and presentation skills Experience in risk management Good analytical skills and business acumen What Eaton offers: Excellent working environment – safety and ethics are really important for us Eaton Business System offering various tools for management and people development Culture & Values - at Eaton, our values and culture define who we are Inclusion & Diversity - openness to diversity widens our access to the best talent.
