To support their growth they are looking to hire an enthusiastic and experienced person to fill this important sales role for them. Main Purpose of the Role Our client is looking to appoint another dynamic, hungry sales executive to join their brilliant sales team, selling their unique, innovative mobile product solution. Your role will be to identify, generate and close new business in the exciting Financial Markets / FS sector (banks, investment houses, brokers etc) working to a defined target list or within a defined territory. You will need to display exceptional sales and objection-handling skills to operate in a dynamic market environment with a strong sales background in hi-tech solution sales. A fantastic opportunity to move to working with selling high-tech into FS clients and an opportunity to make a real difference and benefit from an attractive commission plan. You will operate as a sole contributor (no team) reporting to our client’s Sales Manager. Small sales team and a great opportunity to make some real money with 100% comp plan and accelerators up to 300%. You will work predominantly with FS companies where our client has already secured 8 of the top 10 Tier 1 banks and you will continue to work with these Tier 1 clients, as well as develop relationships and tech solutions for additional Tier 2 FS organisations. Interest/experience in E-Sim technology and IoT would help you secure this enviable role based in Canary Wharf and working with a global customer base across many sectors. Full training on our client’s proposition and mobile recording solution will be given but the ability to be a quick learner and understand solution selling is a MUST Key Responsibilities • Work on targeted leads to generate new business within the FS sector locally and globally - customer prospects could be banks, investment houses, brokers etc • Achieve target sales as defined by the business on a quarterly basis by obtaining signed customer contracts • After technical / product training, fully understand our client’s propositions so that you are able to articulate in detail, and with value, to C-level and across all functions within a customer's organisation • Fully appreciate and understand the customers' buying criteria and buying cycle • As part of our client’s direct sales team, you will be expected to plan, prioritise and manage activities to achieve quarterly business targets • Take a disciplined approach to accurate and regular reporting / forecasting utilising our client’s CRM system - SalesForce • Follow our client’s sales process and methodology, including responding to bids and RFPs • Operate within reasonable parameters of the business by setting and managing customer expectations • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in all interactions with customers • Create a personal development plan utilising internal training and development resources available and, where appropriate, external support • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the market competitors' customer offering • Feed back accurate win / loss reasoning per opportunity. Skills & Experience Required • Proven track record in building and delivering sales growth - a new business development background • 5-7 years sales experience selling systems integration, SAAS/software, consultancy or technology products/services • Must be able to demonstrate entering new markets, selling B2B, with a new brand, in the technology and/or mobile space - sales philosophy must be a 'Hunter' • No experience required in the FS sector but an enthusiasm for selling into this space is required • Full training given in our client’s tech solutions - ability to develop a high level technical understanding quickly • Able to manage C-level negotiations executing multiple sales plans • Able to produce and deliver account pitches that target the key areas for success • Self-motivated in order to deliver exceptional results • Excellent communication and customer management skills, both written and verbal • Ability to effectively present and influence individuals and groups at all levels • Excellent negotiation skills - able to deliver valuable outcomes to customers • Ideally, experienced in utilising Salesforce.com to report and manage activity • Commercially astute; competitive & proactive instinct; tenacious; adaptable; resilient • Able to work collaboratively across multifunctional teams • Appreciation of critical timescales and the impact of delay on client perception • Customer satisfaction and service delivery focussed • Able to navigate through conflict and challenges towards positive outcomes whilst retaining focus and perspective.
