IT Site Service - Lead Property Relocations Engineer Here at Travis Perkins we are seeking a IT Lead Property Relocations Engineer to take responsibility in the planning of project activities relating to building and departmental relocation projects, including IMACDs not within the managed service arrangement, letterbox projects, other initiatives etc, these being high profile due to executive level stakeholders being involved. To ensure engagement between all related parties (internal and external) in delivering the Group Property Portfolio , thus managing elements of the project objectives and deliverables relating to IT Site Services work schedule; (of new, relocated, refurbished, rebranded, implanted and decommissioned sites and other partner services such as business continuity activities; fire, flood vandalism etc). The role we're recruiting for… This role will encompass a number of key areas, these include; Product Management - Responsible for the deployment all new products / services and transition updates within IT Site Services. To liaise with internal department (eg test and configuration teams) regarding the life cycle management of hardware and software into and out of the estate, along with any associated training updates to documentation or actual engineers on site training. To manage and maintain all IT Site Service cost information / standard cost cards and to update Planning & Finance accordingly. Financial Management - closely manage all finances, budgets and forecasts, cost tracking and variance analysis, including pricing / cost allocation against projects CE / cost centres and other related financial management. Follow any IT / Procurement processes relating to raising purchase order requests and order fulfilment accordingly as required. IT Site Service Lead responsible for creating and delivering project work plans and update them accordingly to reflect the changing needs and business requirements in line with the planned pipeline of work. Identify, secure and manage the required resources and assign responsibility for delivering tasks / outcomes. It would be great if you had… IT related qualifications (ONC, HND/HNC, NVQ/Engineering/ITIL/other Service discipline) Previous experience within a ‘hands on’ engineering role Project Management Experience Ability to matrix manage teams working under pressure with a high level of accuracy Previous experience with IT deployment What can we offer you?
