Product Manager The company This is an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager to join an international expanding team within an industry leading software solutions company. You will work closely with external customers and the technology, implementation, support and operational teams to deliver on the sprint promises. The role The product manager will contribute to thinking around the product strategy and vision, and develop the product roadmap They will ensure that the specifications for product changes are clearly documented, prioritised, briefed to the development teams and, project managed to on-time delivery. Job Responsibilities Clearly express Product Backlog items Order the items in the Product Backlog to best achieve goals and missions Ensure that the Product Backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all, and shows what the Scrum Team will work on next Represent the product internally and across customers and support teams. Be the product evangelist. Constantly champion the product and explain the vision and benefits of the product Working with the Operations Manager, develop, maintain and communicate a deep knowledge of the market, competition, technology, customer base and capabilities in order to chart a successful product course Represent the customer throughout the process of defining, designing, building, testing and launching a product and any new features Analyse customer journeys and use the findings to assess how to improve the customer experience Design multivariate and A/B testing experiments, and analyse the results Collaborate closely with a cross-functional team from R&D, marketing, finance and customer support through the development process and into on-going operations Introduce and drive best practice iterative product scoping techniques (eg prototyping, user testing) Requirements Team player, self-motivated, able to plan and prioritise effectively Ability to build effective relationships with other stakeholders inside and outside the Scrum Team, demonstrating active listening skills and producing true collaboration Proven track-record in gaining respect from the wider organisation for your product decisions Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and make sense of complexity for self and others A track record of honesty in customer communications when things don't go as planned An understanding of test-driven and iterative development Ability to express technical issues to non-technical business stakeholders Strong attention to detail with demonstrated project management and problem solving skills Personable, enthusiastic, and articulate Entrepreneurial outlook and fun spirit Enjoys effective collaboration with people at all level This job was originally posted as
