Voluntary Services Manager Northampton Full Time: 37.5 Hours Band 5 - £21,666 - £28,754 An exciting opportunity has arisen to apply for the role of Voluntary Services Manager. As a highly motivated and visionary leader, you will be accountable for the management of a large team of volunteers, in delivering a much valued intervention source to our wide ranging and varied patient population. Working as part of a team of two with the Voluntary Services Assistant, you will be responsible for developing the Voluntary Services strategy, continuing and furthering the excellent relationships with local community groups, voluntary organisations and individuals to attract and recruit volunteers. You’ll also be responsible for providing on-going support to the people that volunteer in our services, ensuring effective matching of placements, and their experiences are positive and rewarding for both the patient and the volunteer. With excellent communication and relationship building skills, you will have a background in working in the voluntary sector and have a sound understanding of the issues relating to volunteering and volunteer management.
