The Company For over 20 years our client has provided calibration services across the UK. They specialise in on-site calibration through a fleet of advanced Mobile Calibration Laboratories. They provide calibration certification traceable to national standards, test equipment hire and repair, test equipment sales, on-site calibration, load testing, PAT testing, tool adjustment and air quality certification to many UK industries. Industries include: electrical contractors, main franchise and non-franchise motor dealers, the marine and shipping industry, fuel and chemical plants, hospitals, schools, plumbers, pharmaceutical manufacturers, M.O.D, haulage, aviation manufacturers, local authorities and the food industry. The role They require an experienced technician with a good knowledge of vehicle mechanics or related industry. All specific calibration training is then given due to the unique calibration techniques the company undertake. You should: • be qualified to Level 2 or 3, with recent experience in a vehicle workshop. • have a good grasp of the English language (verbal and written) • have strong interpersonal skills as there is extensive customer contact • have a proven commitment to safety • be physically fit and able to work at heights • have a willingness to work extra hours • hold a current driving licence This role is field based and therefore requires a degree of travelling and some overnight stays.
