Excellent opportunity for an experienced Engineer to join a leading player in the refrigeration controls market. The Role: Working from our client’s office just outside London, the Technical Desk Engineer will provide product support for users of their range of refrigeration control systems in supermarkets nationwide. The successful candidate will draw on their experience of working with controls for large-scale refrigeration systems (for supermarkets, plant or industrial applications) to train colleagues and customers, as well as feeding back competitor developments to the relevant parties within the company. As well as assuming responsibility for supporting existing customers and products, the Technical Desk Engineer will bench test new products and work remotely with customers to manage installation projects across the UK. The Candidate: Applicants will be required to demonstrate: Excellent technical skills in Supermarket, Plant and/or Industrial refrigeration, including an understanding of CO2 applications and full system requirements Strong competence in electronic control systems for refrigeration Experience with products from key manufacturers within the refrigeration controls market Ability to develop an understanding of new products quickly in order to train both customers and colleagues Organisation and self-motivation with the ability to prioritise and multi-task The Company: Specialists in the design and development of energy-efficient control technologies for refrigeration and HVAC equipment, our client has been established for eighty years and today employs more than 20,000 people in over 100 countries worldwide.
