Bright Horizons Nurseries, awarded “Great Place to Work” for 11 years are currently recruiting for a Housekeeper/Cook to join one of our lovely London Client Nurseries near Shoreditch. The role is working Full Time Monday to Friday. This would be primarily a House Keeper role, covering in the kitchen when the Chef is on holiday or absent. As a Housekeeper/Cook working with us, you can expect a competitive salary, excellent training and development as well as a caring and passionate place to work. 93 % of our employees agree that “When I look at what we accomplish I feel a sense of pride” The Housekeeper element will include: · Providing a cleaning service in line with Nursery requirements · Keeping the nursery clean and safe for the children · Carrying out stock take and inform Manager of when materials and cleaning equipment needs replacing The Cook element will include: · Preparing and delivery of nutritionally balanced, attractive family-style meals for all children aged 3 month-5 years · Ensuring that hygiene and cleanliness within the kitchen is of the highest standard in accordance with Environmental Health requirements and legislation · Following kitchen procedures and maintain records in accordance with Environmental Health policies and processes “5 out of 6 employees would recommend Bright Horizons as a Great Place to Work” You may have experience of the following: Chef, Catering Supervisor, Cook, Cleaner, Housekeeper, Kitchen Assistant.
