My client is looking to recruit an experienced Finance/Administration Manager for their site in Huntingdon. The purpose of this role is to assist the MD with all duties relating to the production of monthly and annual accounts, associated financial administration and the day to day HR management for the company. Hours of work Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm. Main duties Responsible for managing 2 direct reports who undertake general duties such as Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Credit Control and HR administration Overseeing credit control Cash and bank management - Monitoring cash flow on a daily basis and reporting to MD Managing the CID facility including undertaking monthly reporting on line and forwarding to the bank month end debtors reports by the required deadline Dealing with bank audit requirements and uploading invoices Managing day to day banking, posting receipts and payments, maintaining DDs , updating and maintaining the cash books, preparing the cash payment schedule, preparing projected cash flow analysis and cash book analysis, transferring monies between accounts, maintaining inter-company balances, preparing bank recs for subsidiary companies. VAT compliance Nominal Ledger Preparing for management meetings and HR meetings Monthly payroll using Sage 100 Company insurance reporting Company pension scheme maintenance Person spec Working knowledge of Sage 100 for payroll AAT/ACCA qualified Worked in a manufacturing enviornment or Accountants practice Diplomatic Sense of humour Old school accounting principles Management experience SME experience So if you think you have the skills and experience they are looking for and would like to know more, please let me have your CV.
