The role is for a Facilities Technician based in the Swindon area, working within a permanent role offering a very competitive salary and attractive benefits package. GENERAL SUMMARY Working as a member of Facilities reporting to the Facilities Leader. Managing site services functions to ensure continuity of facilities services to all areas of the Swindon manufacturing plant. Liaise with other departments and advise/ensure service requirements are met. Specify and oversee facilities related contracts and projects. Maintain business continuity plans (emergency response, fire alarm and fire fighting systems, etc). RESPONSIBILITIES Comply with quality system, cGMP, Health &Safety and Environmental standards at all times. Perform all duties in line with Company core values. To be flexible in working hours and supporting the department to ensure the site standards are maintained. To comply with BD good documentation practice. Use Vertical lift platforms to enable high level work. Use Site forklift and pedestrian truck Day to day maintenance/inspection of all site plant. Complete maintenance tasks and ordering of spare parts via SAP Ensure site security. Participate in site call out rota. Key holder requirements. Member of the emergency response team. Additional information on competencies required Safety awareness of electrical, compressed air and pressurised systems. Good team player and able to work on own initiative. cGMP trained Open to change and continuous improvement Good interpersonal and communicational skills Ability to work in cleanroom environment Disciplined to complete actions/tasks as required. Must be flexible to the needs of the business EXPERIENCE Previous experience in a cleanroom environment Previous experience in a maintenance position QUALIFICATIONS Craft Apprenticeship or Qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
