Job Title: Service Analyst Location: Sunderland Salary: 18'000 - 24'000 This is a brilliant opportunity for a dynamic ambitious individual; looking to join an innovative organisation that procures professional services on behalf of the UK public sector. Key Responsibilities: Procurement Activity: Administering the end to end procurement process for Professional Services, Consultancy and Interim requirements across a range of Clients Working on and off Client site On boarding suppliers and assisting suppliers with registering with the client Shortlisting and researching suppliers Issuing contractual documentation to suppliers Carrying out spend analysis Assisting with the production of management information Administration Organise and manage correspondence with clients in terms of arranging meetings, ensuring that relevant persons are present and preparing any required material. Produce written materials needed to assist various aspects of a given project, e.g. writing reports, creating templates, summarising documents, producing records and notes from meetings, creating action logs, presentations and data tables Provide analytical and administrative support where necessary across the business in areas such as system administration and supplier enrolment. Relationship Management Consistently communicate and facilitate engagement with clients and other stakeholders to ensure that information is shared, utilised and documented effectively Enquire after and evaluate the present circumstances, expressed desires and possibly unexplored needs of clients Discuss solutions and options with clients where appropriate, drawing on your relevant experience and knowledge Demonstrate a good understanding of client objectives, project outcomes and deliverables Report into relevant senior personnel, keeping them informed of progress against strategies, actions and project plans General Ability to communicate effectively through email, telephone and face to face meetings Ability to make decisions, problem-solve and take a pro-active approach to your work Ability to commit to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace Ability to multi-task across a number of disciplines and prioritise work accordingly Proven ability to develop effective working relationships with a range of organisations and partners Strong interpersonal skills, and proven ability to work in a collaborative manner with a range of colleagues and direct reports Strong researching skills and the ability to select, interpret, organise and summarise relevant information Creative and visionary in managing projects and initiatives, and in creating opportunities for business improvement and develop support strategies Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage at all levels and establish credibility with peers and senior leaders Excellent presentation, written and communication skills including report writing; ability to present written reports and documents and negotiate, influence and persuade at a senior level Customer focused and commercially aware Willingness to develop professional qualifications Essentials: Educated to degree level or with a qualification within a relevant discipline. Experience of working within the Public Sector. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Database Management for production of management information and reporting.
