A rapidly expanding Automotive firm based in Birmingham is seeking a TPM Controller . As a TPM Controller , the main purpose of the job would be the smooth running and adherence of TPM schedules regarding all weld fixtures and Poke Yoke; you would also be able to redesign any issues out of jogs from the 8D process. As a TPM Controller , you would report to the Principle Process Engineer. The main purpose of the role will involve: Smooth running & adherence of TPM schedules regarding all weld fixtures & Poke Yoke Redesign any issues out of jigs from 8D process Ensure all customer and company quality standards and requirements are maintained Duties and responsibilities: Complete all TPM checks set on PROIV system Document all TPM tasks completed Update all schedules on systems so there is a steady flow of TPMs to prevent backlog In any one set period achieve 100% adherence Communicate with all setters on any rework to jigs that go through tool room and create tracking documents required Attend and support any 8D meetings that may have relevance to jigs or TPM when requested Strive to continually improve & develop a robust TPM system Give a monthly report with graphs to show all TPMS conducted per month Perform weekly audits on shopfloor on current jobs to stop any potential quality concerns which may occur Set up any additional information relating to the quality of all production jigs and Poke Yoke equipment Assist in the standardising of robot fixtures and fixture locations to make them interchangeable between machines, easing possible capacity constraints These duties are neither limited nor fixed, and you may be required to take on additional reasonable responsibilities as the business evolves The job role is based in Birmingham and is commutable from Tamworth, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Coventry, Bromsgrove, Halesowen, Solihull, Redditch, Evesham, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Staffordshire, and West Midlands.
