Contract Type
Description A B2C brand whose international eCommerce strategy has placed them firmly in the Top 500 Internet Retailing rankings this year. With an online turnover that is overtaking that of their high-street presence, the new eCommerce Analyst will be able to operate on a scale that only a few players in the South West can boast of. What you’ll be doing As part of the wider eCommerce unit, this position will work on a mix of international websites all under the same brand. A big part of their success has been to correctly digest the information of their customers’ behaviour on the website to deliver the cutting-edge functionality and the best user experience possible. That’s where you come in. Your role will involve a thorough interrogation of the website analytics, in turn using this insight to provide business cases to the development team on what changes will deliver an improved customer experience. This is 100% down to the usability of the site to maximise conversions, rather than looking at how to drive traffic through a mix of digital channels. Aside from the development team you will also work alongside a UX Analyst and work closely with the digital agencies to understand what data will be pulled into your reports. What experience you’ll need You’ll have worked in an e-commerce environment already, ideally as an analyst but you might have has a broader role with web analytics being a big part of your day to day. Experience will include substantial knowledge of Google Analytics, the ability to pick other tools up quickly (such as Sessioncam), what levers to pull to optimise conversions and an affinity to a team-based approach. What you’ll get in return for your talents A competitive salary between £30-35k, with a possible stretch beyond this for a really relevant profile – so please get in touch if your expectations exceed this slightly. Benefits include product discount, pension contributions and life assurance. What’s next? Drop Joe a line to hear more and apply. This job was originally posted as
