Due to their continued growth, an international manufacturer is looking to strengthen its existing team by bringing in additional Team Leader (s). You will receive a salary of £31,000 and happy to work on a 3 week shift rotation. This opportunity comes with a Company Pension, Company Share Scheme, Full PPE, 25 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays. The successful Team Leader (s), will drive and lead the team in achieving the operation objectives in terms of safety, quality, cost, delivery and supply. The Team Leader (s) will support the departmental health and safety function and also bring to the attention of management any accidents, near misses, incidents, unsafe practices, damage to machines, tools or equipment and to identify potential hazards that could affect the safety of employees and others working on-site. Key Responsibilities: Ensure all production requirements are met in line with quality, cost and delivery constraints Liaise with Grade 4 Operators on previous and oncoming shifts to identify and control production issues Covering for the absence of the Shift Manager, where applicable Leading a team in achieving the shift targets and correcting failure Prioritising of workloads and rescheduling to meet customer requirements Assist the Shift Manager with Key Performance Indicator (KPI) improvement for your area Building of parts to the required quality standards, following the work instructions Building of parts within production time requirements To actively encourage team working Organise work allocation for your area Assist in training/coaching of new members of the team The successful Team Leader, will possess a sound knowledge of being a highly experienced supervisor, who will also be a good at Training, Coaching, Motivation and Team Building Skills.
