Due to an internal restructure we have a truly fantastic & highly rewarding opportunities to join our Communities & Programmes team as a Network Officer on a full-time, permanent basis. We have a positions available which is home based, located within Central England. The role will provide delivery support to the Network Project Manager in their region to deliver regional activity as set out in the Regional Plans and the Collaborative Network Pilots. The Network Officer will primarily work with local Royal Mencap Society staff and Mencap’s network of local organisations to facilitate implementation of agreed activity; to include projects, campaigns, service delivery, information and advice. The post holder will identify external organisations that can add value, support and deliver the planned activity. The post holder will be expected to have a pro-active approach in identifying potential sources to support this work. You will provide day to day support with all aspects of regional delivery for your areas including; the activity planning and delivery process, the monitoring and evaluation process; the risk and issue management process, and the change management process. Acting as a central administrator for all regional planning and delivery documents and reports and ensure these are up to date. You will support with collection and updating of local information and knowledge with regards to Royal Mencap Society activity, local organisation activity and regional specific insight for the area in which they work. Key Skills & Experience (please demonstrate in all applications): Essential: An ability to foster and manage internal and external relationships Excellent planning and organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities to successful conclusions. Significant experience of working in the learning disability and/or community sector Experience of project delivery, including budgeting and financial monitoring processes. The confidence, drive and determination to deliver agreed targets. Desirable: Experience of working within a target driven environment Previous experience of working in the charities sector Full clean drivers licence that you can use in the UK with access to a vehicle ?
