JOB TITLE: Continuous Improvement Manager JOB REF: J028274 LOCATION: York SALARY: £20,000- £24,500 (depending on experience) An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious individual to join a dynamic team as a Continuous Improvement Coordinator. This role is on a temporary basis until possibly January 2017 but could be extended. This role is field based, covering all delivery sites, subcontractor sites and Apprenticeship delivery across the North East, North West, Yorkshire & Humber and Midlands. You will have proven experience of Ofsted, being integral throughout the inspection process and be clear in your understanding of the developments in the regime. Alongside this, you will be a qualified assessor or classroom based tutor; demonstrating a strong background in quality assurance activity within an adult skills setting. This experience will allow you to conduct observations of teaching, learning and assessment and support the continuous improvement of our delivery. This opportunity provides the right candidate with the ability to make an impact on the quality of teaching and learning across the organisation by undertaking OTLs, gathering feedback and agreeing and supporting improvement actions. You will be able to skilfully assess the quality of teaching, learning and assessment and be able to grade this appropriately in line with the standards published by Ofsted. Where you identify through observation and feedback that there are areas for development, you will be instrumental in driving these improvements, but also be able to demonstrate the impact of the action taken and support provided. This role will allow you to understand how our learners, customers and external partners feel about company services and their experiences; and you will be able to analyse and present feedback in a clear way across the business and management team in line with Feedback Strategy. Key Skills: - Excellent time management - Excellent report writing - Great communication - Must be computer literate - Good at building relationships - Self motivated - Creative - Excellent administration skills Duties: - Review feedback and conduct telephone surveys. Reporting and presenting the output of this activity via analysis of the feedback to support recommendations for improving quality of delivery and service - Support the design and delivery of staff training and coaching where appropriate - Support the embedding of the company's quality procedures, standards and specifications - To undertake other duties and responsibilities as directed by the line manager or senior management team Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:30am- 17:00pm but can be flexible and would consider part time working.
