This is a paid internship, offering NMW plus excellent career progression and commission structure, followed by permanent role. How you can expect to spend your day; Reporting directly into the Sales & Marketing Director – your role will encompass both new business acquisition as well as in time industry sector management. Though you will be office based, there is an expectation that you may attend events and client meetings should you be offered full time permanent work after an initial 3month internship. Primary objectives will be to ensure both you and the team meet and strive to exceed monthly and quarterly targets – by maximising fund raising from your given project or event, as well as helping in cross-team pitches to win larger campaigns. First 3 months: Effective training will be provided for you to achieve your goals You will earn a basic salary of £13,986 per annum The most successful interns can also earn discretionary monthly bonus ranging from £200 to £400 OTE: £18,000 4th Month: Your Salary will increase to £16,000 per annum As you finish your training you will be given a proper commission structure OTE: £20,000 For your 6th Month: Your salary will increase to £18,000 Permanent position with the company OTE: £42,000 The ideal intern’s personality and qualifications; Working across print, digital, events and bespoke projects for direct clients – this position requires a determined and well-rounded individual with ideally some experience in sales but not required. Strong work ethic with a positive outlook and high standards Ability to keep a consistently high level of output, and demonstrate excellent attention to detail Excellent communication skills – verbal and written are essential You must be able to demonstrate the ability to work on your own, with the level of perseverance and tenacity required As part of a multichannel and multidisciplinary team, you should also be able to share ideas, work well with others and fit within the teams’ dynamics A key part of your role is to listen to and understand your clients’ needs, and provide specific, targeted and well thought out solutions to match these needs. In order to do this your proposals will be of a high standard and will be well thought out, tailored, and intelligent Excellent time management skills are essential – covering a myriad of advertising brands and options, across a wide client base, the ability to manage client expectations and workload is pivotal Administrative skills – you will be required to keep a record of all sales activity on our CMS (Insightly) as well as shared drives and googlemail online document system What are the perks of interning at this company?
