Contract Type
Description This role is working with a brand that has seen huge growth in the past decade, both through their stores and the online channel. An Omnichannel content strategy is key to their success, so you’ll be placed at the heart of everyday customer communication to drive continued engagement with the business. What you’ll be doing With a business of this scale it’s important to ensure that content is correctly sourced, presented appropriately on the eCommerce site and is consistent with brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all channels. Reporting into the eCommerce Manager your role will span many aspects of the content marketing mix. You’ll look to source authors and brief, edit and publish blogs on the site, working with internal store managers to extend your reach beyond the online channel. Video will be a key channel to help enrich content on the site, so identifying opportunities to introduce these and managing production should be on your radar. Using Excel and analytics software, you’ll work closely with your manager to analyse customer behaviour and decide where opportunities exist to optimise content and boost conversion rates. Uploading content through the CMS and occasionally writing copy for the site will also fall to you, all the while tracking each project to ensure all adjustments follow business deadlines. What experience you’ll need Having worked in a content role will give you a distinct advantage, ideally for a commercial site but broader content experience is fine also. An understanding of basic SEO, how customers use content to inform their purchasing and a knowledge of website analytics software (such as Google Analytics) will be really helpful. What you’ll get in return for your talents A salary of up to £20k with additional benefits (please enquire), excellent training and opportunities to travel. What’s next? Please get in touch with Joe to hear the finer details on this one. This job was originally posted as
