We are working on a behalf of our client who are a Sussex-based digital marketing and ecommerce consultancy agency who specialise in advertising our clients' products online and use multi-channel marketing to reach the widest audience possible; across platforms such as Amazon, eBay, client websites and other marketplaces. Their primary client is Duragadget. Duragadget are a world leader in the design and manufacture of innovative consumer electronic accessories; a well-established and fast growing online retail company with an excellent reputation, who are constantly developing and expanding a product range of laptop cases, camera bags, rucksacks, gadgets etc. We are looking for a self-motivated and highly organised individual to help manage the Duragadget France online third-party accounts and drive sales, and join our well established and expanding team. You would need to show initiative, be creative, and be able to work independently as well as within a team. The Role The main focus of the role is marketing / copywriting and account management / admin, and actively growing sales on accounts. We would also hope that the successful candidate can bring additional skills and knowledge to the team. As a general overview, responsibilities would include: Admin – using our order fulfilment software to process orders, e-mailing (and occasionally phoning) customers and ensuring all stock levels are accurate Customer care – there will be some customer care cover needed when staff is away / off or during busier times of the year Account management – helping to look after the French Duragadget online accounts (Amazon, eBay, and many others), ensuring they are kept in excellent standing with exceptional feedback and customer satisfaction Driving sales on all accounts through creative content, advertising, use of promotional tools, page ranking optimisation etc. Copywriting – creating accurate and engaging written content for new product listings and good understanding of keywords Market research – monitoring competitor activity and keeping up-to-date with new releases within the consumer electronics sector, and identifying new products opportunities based on competition, market research and personal knowledge Essential skills Native French speaker (mother tongue) Excellent copywriting skills Experience or background with selling on third party ecommerce platforms (Amazon, eBay etc.) Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel Exceptional attention to detail, grammar and punctuation skills Strong time management skills and the ability to coordinate a complex, diverse workload Good typing speed – minimum of 40 words per minute Desirable skills Advanced level or Experience in a marketing role Educated to degree level in a related discipline (marketing, business, French) Interested in gadgets/technology HTML knowledge Basic knowledge of Google Adwords, SEO Basic knowledge of Photoshop or photo-editing software for web image editing Advanced level or experience in Social media accounts management / promotions (Facebook, Twitter) Working hours Full-time, 40 hours per week – 7.30 am start preferred but we can be flexible depending on circumstances Weekend admin cover on a rota basis (this can be done from home and overtime will be paid. Alternatively, a maximum of 5 days’ worth of overtime can be claimed as time in lieu. Any surplus hours will be paid.) Bank holiday admin cover on a rota basis (this can be done from home and overtime will be paid).
