We are now looking for a Product Manager, to work with our marketing team based in Basingstoke, to take responsibility for the management of the prosthetic product portfolio and development and execution of the product marketing plan. This is an exciting opportunity to further develop in your career in Product Management, to act as the key decision maker for product launch, managing a portfolio of prosthetic products, both old and new. A strong marketing background and experience of successfully managing products, including new product development and introduction, and launch programs are essential as well as evidence of developing strategy to achieve commercial objectives. The successful candidate will be commercially minded, with a strong customer focus and be capable of good critical analysis. They will be a confident communicator, who is able to present competently and liaise with stakeholders at all levels. They will work exceptionally well as part of a team and be able to effectively build strong inter-disciplinary relationships. They will be proactive and self-motivated, with a flexible and innovative approach. Ideally, the successful candidate will have worked in a marketing role within medical device manufacturing and/or have experience of working in a global organisation. They will use these skills and experiences to take responsibility for: · Working in conjunction with local marketing, to collate market intelligence, analyse competitor activity and market trends · Developing relationships with key customers to create market intelligence and insight, to inform portfolio strategy, product positioning and development. · Managing the prosthetic product portfolio and contributing to the New Product Development process to optimise project selection, maximise competitiveness and market share, and coordinate new introductions and retirements. · Contributing to group marketing strategy alongside the Head of Marketing · Planning, implementing and controlling innovative programmes, to increase market penetration and profitability for the portfolio. · Working with New Product Development, Manufacturing, Customer Services and local Markets to develop and deliver detailed launch plans, including design, positioning, pricing, logistics and training. · Working with the Marketing Campaigns Manager and Digital Marketing Manager to provide input for comprehensive internal and external communications campaigns to help ensure maximum uptake · Managing the launch budget and other relevant resources A degree level qualification or equivalent in a relevant subject (such as Marketing or Communications) or candidates from a scientific background, with a related degree level qualification or equivalent (such as biomedical engineering or science) is desirable. This is a full time, permanent role; working hours are 36.5 hours per week on Monday to Friday (early finish on a Friday).
