ProImmune is a leading biotechnology company focussing on immunology headquartered in Oxford. We are seeking a highly-motivated and capable Research Scientist to join our R&D team. You will play a key role in the development of new immunological products and services and will be required to interact across teams internally and well as with external parties. The work will require the ability to fit in well as part of a team but also to work independently. Experience/skills required: Preferably educated to PhD level in Biochemistry, Immunology or related scientific discipline, with a strong publication record. You will need to have in-depth knowledge of protein biochemistry, molecular biology, protein expression and purification, and assay development. Experience in antibody engineering, protein-protein interaction and binding affinity measurements would be highly desirable. We are looking for a candidate who has the ability to manage complex projects from conception to completion. Experience in supervising the work of others and working with suppliers would also be an advantage. You will need to demonstrate a self-starting attitude, excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, original thinking and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
