Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical/Multi Skilled/Fitter) MONDAY TO FRIDAY – 2 Shift 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm Brandon, Suffolk £28,,000 Overtime (OTE £35K) Pension Life Assurance Benefits Package Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/Fitter required to join an award winning business. This site is currently undergoing major refurbishment and investment so will suit an engineer who wants to take part in the improvements. You will need to be a mechanical maintenance engineer with experience in ANY manufacturing environment - ideally heavy industry. This is not essential but you must be happy work in this environment. Improvements include stores, spares, PPM etc. Your role will be to develop and maintain the plant, ancillary equipment and facilities. You’ll work with other sites to ensure best engineering practices are being uniformed at this site. Training on plant equipment will be given. You need you be competent with hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, conveyors etc. Some basic electrical knowledge for safe working is required but training will be given. Breakdown repair, fault finding and preventative maintenance across ALL production machinery. Improvement initiatives. Mechanical work includes: Pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, gears, bearings etc. 2 shift role – Monday to Friday - 6.00 am to 2.30 pm week 1, 2.00 pm to 10.30pm week 2.
