The Role We are currently looking to recruit a strong generalist HR Partner for our Harlow site. The role will ultimately provide day to day HR support and guidance to the site which will play a key role in our overall Distribution Network. To be successful you will already have HR experience, preferably within a supply chain or operational environment, and be keen to develop your HR career to the next level. The role is generalist in nature including responsibilities such as: Ensuring that the site is resourced effectively to meet the key operational KPI's Providing colleagues and managers with appropriate, accurate and timely HR advice and guidance, either directly or in conjunction with our external provider Supporting managers in formal meetings to ensure policy compliance and best practice Delivering identified management training Supporting talent management and succession planning activity Being responsible for the accurate administration of pay and reward, in conjunction with Central payroll team Driving employee engagement through day to day interactions with colleagues and leading specific interventions such as the Employee Communication Forum Support the operational management team to facilitate the delivery of excellent service standards Working with the local community to promote Brakes as a responsible employer, that people are proud to be associated with Acting as the ambassador for central HR initiatives, ensuring effective cascade at site level.
