The Role: They are looking to recruit a number of manufacturing technicians to be responsible for the production, maintenance and quality of a designated production line. The role involves running the line and monitoring production efficiencies, looking for product quality problems and also conducting planned maintenance on the line (mechanically biased). The Person: You will be an apprentice trained engineer (mechanical or electrical to a minimum of NVQ 2 standard. My client is looking for a technically minded engineer but the role is a mix of production work and hands on so if you're looking for a standard maintenance position then this role is probably not right for you.
