We are on the hunt for an ambitious Chef de Partie to join a busy bar kitchen within a country house hotel in the heart of Gloucestershire. This hotel has two kitchens; one of which produces a modern gastro style menu for the bar and lounge, the other kitchen serves their restaurant which has been awarded two AA Rosettes. Both kitchens are under the direction of the Head Chef. The kitchens are run to his impeccable standards; producing seasonal menus while using fresh, quality ingredients. There is only a Larder and Sauce section within the bar kitchen, all pastry items comes from the main kitchen. There is possible career progression for a hard working candidate within this hotel by means of transferring from the bar kitchen to the main kitchen. The Role: Running and maintaining your own section Helping to develop junior members of staff Maintain health and safety standards Report to the Head Chef for daily duties The Candidate: Previous experience at CDP level preferred Competent and level headed Passion for cooking fresh produce, remaining true to the season Ability to work in a fast paced kitchen producing consistent quality Benefits : Uniform allowance Career progression Staff discount for overnight stays within the hotel chain 25% off all food purchases 5 days on 2 days off Salary £19,000 £2K TIPS All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
