Baltic Training Services currently have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, hardworking and enthusiastic individual to join our Sedgefield based client as a Software Development Apprentice. The company has traded since 2002. They develop, install and support software that is used by the power generation industry in UK and Europe. Situated in a central location, this modern office building is easily accessible. Due to continued success and growth they are now seeking an apprentice to join their talented team. As an apprentice you will be mentored and fully trained to carry out the following duties: Develop unit and integration test scripts, documenting them in a testing tool Perform tests in a thorough and systematic manner, such that errors are identified prior to the software's release to a customer Perform tests from both a technical and user perspective, such that the released software is fit for purpose. Compile test reports, documenting the results of a test run clearly and accurately Log errors found during testing in the error tracking tool (Bugzilla) clearly and accurately so that they can be quickly fixed.
