We are currently recruiting for an IT Project Manager. This role will encompass project management of commercial business process and related IT-projects in order to improve financial process efficiency within the group. The successful candidate will also be responsible for implementation of MS Dynamics NAV and attached systems. Home-based with regular travel. Role responsibilities include: Analysing current business process landscape within selected entities and identification of improvement potential Planning of business process efficiency improvement projects with strong implementation focus Take control of the project in hand and see it through to successful completion Support in the development and rollout of group systems such as Navision, ELO and portals Assumption of project management and project lead on business process efficiency improvement processes Define process descriptions and do gap analysis between business processes and it systems Create Design Documents for system implementations and interfaces To keep Senior Management informed of progress, problems etc. Observing, understanding and complying with Corporate standards General support on ad-hoc queries Data integration support for new and existing contracts Training on key users for new implemented it systems Ad-hoc analysis and modeling of business cases for commercial decision taking Data extraction and analysis from various commercial systems Implementation of existing and new group reporting requirements Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Attributes and Experience Required: Strong understanding of commercial processes and experience in business administration with emphasis on accounting and controlling Strong understanding of business related systems within a company A high degree of IT literacy, especially competent in the use of report writers, SQL Database technology etc. Ability to structure, prepare and execute data imports. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to be able to interact with a wide-range of people with different internally and externally (Local and International) Willingness and ability to work in projects Well organised to be able to design and management projects abreast of workload and adhere to deadlines. Willingness to travel and to work abroad depending on the specific project requirements Ability to understand differing local requirements and to adopt to local and cultural specifics. Able to work independently. A high level of accuracy, meticulous attention to detail and the ability to investigate and resolve queries to a satisfactory conclusion. Skills to build and manage internal customer, external customer and supplier relationships, as demonstrated by a service delivery focus. Experience in MS Dynamics NAV is preferable Common application knowledge, in particular with Microsoft products A flexible and positive approach to change. This job was originally posted as
