Do you want to work for a special purpose machine designer that will offer you a varied and challenging role? Based in Swindon this company are a world leader in the design, manufacture and service of special purpose machinery that are supplied around the world. In this role you will carry out conceptual and re-modification design of special purpose machinery. You will also have involvement during trials and machine testing. The ideal candidate will come from a mechanical design engineering background using Solidworks to design assemblies. This is a great role for a design engineer to join a company where your skills will be valued and utilised. The role: Design, detail and develop machines using Solidworks. 3D mechanical design. Have hands on involvement during trials and machine testing. Assis with sales proposals and design estimates. The person: Candidates will ideally hold a mechanical qualification. Have experience using a 3D CAD package (preferably Solidworks) Experience designing mechanical assemblies.
