Bid Manager & Sales Coordinator £20 - £30K DOE Cheltenham Full Time The Role To provide support to the Sales Team via Sales Director. Key Responsibilities Act as Bid Manager for majority of bids Compilation/generation of win themes Competitor analysis Creation of bid templates Relationship management of bidding partners Logging in all tenders/bids Populating tenders/bids with preliminary information (company name etc.) Producing project plans, for tenders, with critical timescales Building and managing a bid library (company information, CVs etc.) Responsibility for a bid archive including de-brief information Assisting the Senior Management Team in identified sales activities Providing sales support for Defence Support campaigns Maintaining Defence Support account management information (clients, account managers, spend etc), including Prospects and Bid Pipeline Managing and updating case studies & marketing collateral (including exhibition material etc.) Generating content for use on website Liaising with Marketing personnel for marketing strategies/initiatives Assisting with direct marketing campaigns Providing clerical support to the Senior Management Team Supporting the Admin area of the Defence Division, from time-to-time Supporting the production areas of the Division may be required in the interests of the Defence Support business Export Control Officer (full training will be provided) Private Venture (PV) Grading Exhibition Clearances Export Licences (OIEL, SILS, OGEL etc) Exhibition Manager Liaison with Event Managers (Northern Defence Industries (NDI) etc) Creation of artwork and exhibition collateral Event Logistics Graphic Design (desirable, not essential) Small to large scale office artwork Pop-Up Banners Custom PowerPoint Presentations Experience of working in a sales or marketing role Working knowledge of MOD Market place Microsoft Office Effective communicator. You will be articulate, confident and effective in corresponding with people at all levels in both written and spoken word. Attention to detail. You will have an inbuilt desire for attention to detail and can produce work to a high standard first time. Good administration skills. You will be keen to keep your activities well documented and all systems and management information up to date. A commitment to getting the job done.
