An opportunity with one of my leading clients in the north was has arisen for 4 Senior Engineers to join the permanent way delivery working on the North West Electrification Programme. The role will involve: 1.Responsibility for the provision of technical advice and guidance within our permanent way team. 2.You being a key member of the Project Management team ensuring engineering excellence is achieved throughout the life cycle of the project, from design and implementation through to completion. 3.Manage engineering resources and team effectively to deliver against agreed plans and budgets. Job Requirements · You will have gained significant demonstrable experience working within Permanent Way Engineering · Able to undertake the roles of Contractors Responsible Engineer (CRE) and Contractor’s Engineering Manager (CEM) when required. · A strong people manager and knowledgeable engineer, you will possess a ‘can-do’ attitude, excellent organisational ability and have working knowledge of Railway interfaces and practices. Key Skills: · An HNC or equivalent in Engineering is an essential requirement for this role. · Incorporated Engineer status or evidence of working towards it would be an advantage. · Flexibility is also essential for this role as there will be weekend working and travel. You will be self-motivated with a pro-active approach and have experience of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines. Problem solving, communication and good interpersonal skills are a key requirement for this role.
