Due to an active investment plan for business growth across the UK, we are expanding our sales teams across the UK and are looking to recruit energetic, hungry sales people who can help to develop, generate leads and through direct customer engagement in order to increase sales of business print hardware and audio visual solutions into corporate SMB organisations. This is a brand new role which is field based across the South East (excluding London) with the need to attend offices in Hemel Hempstead, Herts on a regular basis. Sales Process: Support the End User sales process by prospecting and winning new SMB customers for Epson within the south east area. For the specific vertical market, understand addressable market size and potential, map potential customers and use information to generate leads. Qualify all prospects using agreed metrics, develop the profile of the prospect and the plan for engagement. Track all deals on a clearly defined pipeline management / CRM system Produce account plans for each major customer: Key criteria (budget, data, stakeholder analysis) Solution and all engaged 3rd party providers Value proposition and technical benefits identified Communications: Develop relationships with external 3rd parties in order to provide the customer with sales support Build relationships over a long period of time so that all potential opportunities are gained and relationships are developed which lead to business opportunities Develop relationships with other Epson internal functions in order to build solutions Reporting: Production of all sales project plans in clearly visible format to ensure access to and awareness of all current deals/ activities Provide input to the forecasting process based on deal potential in sales pipeline Provide analysis of performance against business plan to include all market information Knowledge, Skills and Experience: The ideal candidate requires a 'hunter' and 'negotiator' approach to sales with the ability to win and close opportunities within short timescales: Sales experience (field/internal sales) gained from within the IT Technology sector preferably hardware Experienced of working in a structured and disciplined sales environment (cold lead generated), implementing tactical plans to support the development of profitable sales Applications are welcomed from candidates in the following job roles: Account Executive, Sales Representatives, Field Marketing Executive, Internal Sales Account Manager, Internal Sales Executive with related hi-tech industry experience Technical competency across related product groups or a similar discipline and able to communicate and demonstrate the value and technical benefits of Epson products Ability to build relationships to generate business growth Commercially aware and numerate Specific experience in supporting the implementation of sales in a solutions driven environment Strong influencing and communication skills Ability to manage priorities and time effectively Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ideally educated to degree or equivalent level in business, or sales related discipline Some experience within vertical sector end user sales Ability to manage relationships over a long term to generate business growth Ability to engage with stakeholders and external 3rd parties with sufficient technical knowledge to do so Technical ability in specified sector, with the ability to understand and demonstrate the key technical benefits of Epson VI and BI products This role offers a competitive salary package, commission, company car, laptop and mobile phone.
