A great opportunity for a dynamic supply chain professional to join a growing organisation as a Supply Planning Manager R esponsibilities of the Supply Planning Manager; The role holder must ensure the team is developed to be competent to deliver their activities. The role holder is responsible for full business analysis of planning issues and opportunities. The role holder will lead the development of all data and materials in support of the S&OP process. To lead the planning team through the S&OP requirements, ensuring plans are transferrable to master schedules and detailed production requirements. Responsible for decision-making process concerning production plans and inventory. Close liaison with relevant functions to ensure timely completion of appropriate activities to meet the needs of the overall production and supply plans. Close liaison with Manufacturing leads in order to ensure capacity levels to support the Plan are provided and maintained. Ensuring the Supply Chain Function provides current and accurate data for all ERP system needs. Monitor and optimise capacity planning to ensure best fit for product delivery to agreed customer deadlines. Ensure production execution is tracking to agreed plan, to meet customer and business needs. Contribute to order management process with the Commercial department by preparing order and forecast status on 3 month horizon. Identify improvement opportunities for Supply Chain and other business processes that impact customer satisfaction. Participate in development of existing and new supply chain planning processes, systems and tools. Personal Specification for the Supply Planning Manager; Degree qualified or equivalent. Supply planning experience within a manufacturing environment. Experience of working within the Pharmaceutical, FMCG or Chemical industries. Knowledge of S&OP. Strong Leadership skills. Good working knowledge of MRP / ERP systems. Excellent IT skills including Intermediate to advanced Excel. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills. Ability to work well as part of a team. Ambitious and Self-Motivated.
