Internal Technical Sales Engineer - To 25k 23 days holiday rising to 25 days after 5yrs 3% pension contributions after 3 months Hours: 8am - 5pm The position is office based in Bedfordshire, but you may visit client sites with sales staff to build up customer relationships on key accounts. Job Description: Sales administration raising quotes on the CRM, liaising with sales personnel in relation to quote and follow up. Activities: ·Issue of quotations using appropriate sales template via email mainly (PDF and word as specified by client) ·Site survey CRM data uploading from manual site survey sheets. ·Quote statistics - production of quote reports by date, salesperson, value, client and status (won, lost/outstanding) ·Ensure won quotes are passed over to the Production Team for scheduling to be married up with CRM/Sage. ·To assist the Sales Manager, organise monthly sales meeting (beginning of month) to minute meeting, prepare quote reports and present to sales dept. for discussion. The meetings will review targets and performance and you will be circulated a copy of the monthly management report for that purpose. ·Customer database - input and maintenance of customer/marketing database ensuring all key account details are accurate i.e. name, job description, email, telephone, address etc. ·Liaison with clients logging any new enquiries on behalf of the Sales Team. New enquiries to be issued to the Sales Manager for appropriate distribution. ·Assistance with tender information mainly received in excel format page spreadsheets) ·Assistance with gathering of parts information in order to assist with quote compilation and job costing. ·Price lists recording authorised client labour rates and rebate lists (record on CRM/Sage) ·Marketing activities - post/email marketing mail shots and telephone calls as specified by the Sales Manager to new and existing clients ·Hospitality Events - assisting with organising any hospitality events that sales dept. host. ·Filing of sales paperwork Person Specification ·Knowledge of CRM Systems ·Strong IT Skills ·Team Player ·Excellent Communicator This job was originally posted as
