Senior Quality Manager £60000 - £65000/annum Car, extensive package, relocation Location Nottingham Location Nottingham My client is a globally renowned and admired healthcare and consumer goods business, enjoying world-wide dominance and market leading status in their category sector. As a result of sustained brand growth and business change programmes, an opportunity has arisen for a Senior multi-site Quality Manager to manage flag-ship quality manufacturing functions in Yorkshire and the East Midlands, which is at the very heart of their manufacturing unit. Role: Reporting directly into the Global Category Quality Director , you will be responsible for ensuring all corporate quality standards are implemented across the healthcare product category. You will provide inspirational and strategic leadership of the QC Laboratory functions across 2 sites. -Providing expert quality and scientific expertise to sites across the business -monitor product development to ensure that all quality requirements are met -introducing and improving Quality Systems, tools and techniques to drive through Improvements -training and coaching factory personnel in quality standards -investigate quality related incidents reducing the impact on the business and ensuring effective corrective actions are implemented and executed -introduce new quality systems and improve the effectiveness of existing ones within the business -Assist in supplier assessment -Support Quality Management Teams during new product introduction to ensure that technology transfer is effective -Audit Product Category Developments Requirements: Ideally Degree Qualified from within a scientific discipline (e.g. Chemistry), you will be a trained quality auditor (e.g. ISO Lead Auditor), have a minimum experience from within the consumer goods, cosmetics, healthcare industry or pharmaceutical marketplace. In addition, you will have the ability to drive product quality and customer preference improvements through more effective implementation of Quality systems. You will also demonstrate both tenacity and commitment in order to investigate quality issues first hand, as well as possessing strong communication and training skills. You will be capable of building strong working relationships quickly and motivating teams to deliver outstanding results.
