An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Manager to join a leading solicitors based in Mansfield. The Marketing Manager’s position is a broad and varied role, with overall responsibility for the delivery of the firm’s marketing and communication activities. There is a significant focus on the firm’s online / digital strategy, so candidates will require a good working knowledge of digital marketing to maintain and develop the firm’s existing successful online presence. The Marketing Manager will report to the Marketing Partner, however be aware this is a standalone role within the firm and requires a highly motivated and pro-active individual to manage and develop their function. We are IIP accredited and are one of only 55 companies worldwide to be working with IIP on the pilot for their sixth generation accreditation scheme. We train and develop our staff. We will provide external training where appropriate and we expect the successful candidate to have an ambition to develop their marketing skills and experience as part of their career progression. The main responsibilities of the Marketing Manager include: Working with the Partners to develop the firm’s Marketing Plan Managing the annual marketing budget Driving the marketing plan, strategy and projects forward; from concept to delivery Developing and content managing the firm’s Wordpress website, including regular content creation Implementation of the firm’s social media strategy (Twitter, Google, Linked In, You Tube and Facebook) Creating and broadcasting emails using Mail Chimp Working with the firm’s design agency to develop promotional materials; ensuring brand guidelines are adhered to Copywriting for the firm’s communication channels (web pages, press releases, adverts, brochures, scripts) Reporting on marketing activity and producing monthly KPI reports for Partners Organising networking events and seminars/workshops Conducting regular competitor research and market analysis Developing and maintaining relationships with staff at all levels, as well as clients, referrers and suppliers The essential qualities for the Marketing Manager include: Educated to degree level or equivalent with a Marketing related qualification Pro-active and self-motivated, with the ability to organise and manage own workload Website content management experience (Wordpress) Digital marketing experience; email (Mail Chimp), social media, SEO, blogging, Google Analytics Experience working with and managing suppliers – press, radio, design, web, photo/video Proficient using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint Ideally applicants will have the following: Proficient marketing experience in a similar role CIM Marketing qualification Experience working in legal, professional services environment or B2C environment Networking experience Basic knowledge of HTML If you meet the criteria above, please apply today Applications for this vacancy go directly to the advertiser.
