Duties will include: Broaden your culinary repertoire through learning how to prepare, cook and finish a range of dishes including fish, vegetable and egg based dishes as well as hot sauces and stocks. Use your creative skills showing style and flair when cooking and finishing dishes. Understand how to set up the kitchen, equipment and ingredients ready for service and maintain food safety standards throughout service. Improve your knife skills and know how to maintain, handle and clean a full range of bladed tools you will come across in the kitchen. Grow your confidence in paperwork and reporting to ensure your kitchen runs smoothly – from food safety information to equipment fault reports.
